Responsibilities :

Manage, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability. Perform database backup, recovery, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities using RMAN, Data Guard, and related tools. Troubleshoot database issues, optimize SQL queries, and conduct performance tuning to improve system efficiency. Administer database security, user access, and support application teams with database migrations, refreshes, and production support activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Knowledge of GoldenGate replication. Familiarity with Ansible or automation tools. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud database services. Oracle DBA Certification is a plus.





Technical and Qualified Requirements:

2 to 3 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA. Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g, 12c, 19c, or higher versions. Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning. Experience in backup and recovery strategies. Knowledge of database monitoring and troubleshooting techniques. Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems. Familiarity with shell scripting and automation. Experience with database security and user management.
