Role Description We are hiring a service engineer for our German partner in the field of specialised soldering machines for complex PCBAs.

This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The Service Engineer will perform day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment, conduct field service visits, and provide technical support to customers on installations and system operations. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. The Service Engineer will document service activities, prepare reports, and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams about service status and recommendations.



The position also includes coordinating with other engineers and vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical problems and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and hands-on work with industrial or commercial equipment.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills, including routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, customer updates, and collaboration with internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation; familiarity with basic diagnostic tools and instruments.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and willingness to travel locally for field assignments as needed.
- Prior experience in service engineering, equipment installation, or similar technical roles will be an advantage.
- Passport is mandatory as the training will also be in Germany.
