Job Description:
Inbound Logistics (Procurement Transportation)
Configure transportation planning for raw material procurement.
Integrate SAP TM with SAP MM purchase orders and inbound deliveries.
Manage vendor-based freight agreements and charge calculation.
Enable visibility for supplier shipments and dock scheduling alignment.
Inter-Plant & Stock Transfer Movements
Configure transportation for STO-based movements.
Handle multi-leg transportation scenarios.
Optimize routing between manufacturing plants and regional warehouses.
Support transportation planning linked to production schedules.
Outbound Finished Goods Distribution
Integrate with SAP SD outbound delivery processes.
Configure freight unit building and consolidation strategies.
Manage carrier selection, tendering, and freight settlement.
Support export shipment processes where applicable.
Freight Cost Management
Configure charge calculation profiles and settlement documents.
Ensure FI integration for freight cost posting.
Support cost allocation across business units / plants.
Enable freight cost transparency and reporting.
System Integration & Optimization
Work closely with:
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
SAP MM (Procurement)
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP EWM (Warehouse Management)
SAP FI/CO (Finance & Costing)
Support embedded TM in S/4HANA or standalone TM settings.
Participate in testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and cutover activities.
Troubleshoot integration and master data issues.
