Role Purpose

To supervise day-to-day fabrication activities for structural steel and PEB projects, ensuring work is completed safely, as per drawings, quality requirements and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise shop-floor fabrication of structural steel and PEB components.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, shop drawings and BOMs.
Coordinate cutting, drilling, fit-up, welding, assembly, straightening and finishing activities.
Monitor production against daily and weekly targets.
Allocate manpower, machines and work fronts effectively.
Check dimensions, alignment, weld quality and fabrication tolerances.
Coordinate with QA/QC, planning, stores and engineering teams.
Identify fabrication issues and coordinate their timely resolution.
Monitor material consumption, wastage and rework.
Ensure proper tagging, traceability, stacking and dispatch of fabricated components.
Maintain daily production reports, manpower records and job status.
Ensure compliance with WPS, drawings, project specifications and safety procedures.




Coordinate loading and dispatch of completed structures/PEB components.

Preferred Experience
5–10 years experience in structural steel / PEB fabrication.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Civil or related discipline.
Practical experience with columns, rafters, beams, bracings, purlins, girts, platforms and miscellaneous structures.
Positive knowledge of welding, fit-up, dimensional inspection and fabrication sequence.
Ability to independently manage a fabrication work front and shop-floor workforce.

Pay: ₹12,370.04 - ₹36,836.15 per month
