Job Summary
Kannur Medical College is seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, counselling, and therapeutic support to patients across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews.
Provide individual and family counselling.
Develop and implement appropriate psychological intervention plans.
Support patients with emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Coordinate with psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide psychological support during inpatient and outpatient care.
Conduct awareness and mental health education programs when required.
Qualification
M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
Valuable communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
Relevant hospital/clinical experience will be an added advantage.
