Job Title: HOD – Automobile

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented HOD – Automobile to lead and manage automobile-related operations in our steel manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall planning, execution and monitoring of automobile/vehicle operations.
Manage vehicle maintenance, repair and workshop activities.
Ensure smooth functioning and availability of vehicles and equipment.
Supervise automobile, mechanic and maintenance teams and manage manpower effectively.
Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules and service records.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Stores, Safety and other departments.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Control maintenance costs and improve operational efficiency.
Identify technical issues and ensure timely troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain proper records, reports and documentation related to automobile operations.
Lead the team, improve productivity and report departmental performance to management.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
