Accountant – Job Description

About the Role

BuildOwn Developers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting activities and ensure compliance with financial and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records and accounts.
Record and manage all accounting transactions, including payments, receipts, invoices, and vouchers.
Prepare and maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime.
Handle GST calculations, returns, reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and filing requirements.
Assist with Income Tax-related documentation and compliance.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and other accounting reports as required.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals.
Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and confidentially.




Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely submission of required returns and documents.
Support management with financial information and reports for decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax procedures.
Proficiency in Tally Prime.
Positive knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant accounting tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry will be an added advantage.
Ability to handle multiple accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
