Key Responsibilities
Programming and setup of CNC machines for machining cast components.
Independently interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and process sheets.
Optimise tooling, tool paths, and cutting parameters for efficiency and tolerance accuracy.
Maintain cooling/machine setup sheets and production records.
Train and guide junior operators and monitor their performance.
Required Skills
Proficient in FANUC / SIEMENS control systems.
Robust background in machining cast, steel, and alloy steel components.
Capable of both programming and hands-on setup / operation.
Capable of using precision measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial gauges.
