Experience
Previous experience in an operation theatre is preferred.
Experience in handling surgical instruments and OT equipment is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operation theater before every procedure.
Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and ready for use.
Assist doctors and nurses during surgical procedures.
Prepare and arrange surgical instruments according to the procedure.
Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control practices.
Handle and maintain OT equipment safely.
Assist in cleaning and setting up the OT after procedures.
Check availability and expiry dates of medicines, consumables, and sterile items.
Maintain OT records, registers, and documentation.
Follow hospital safety and infection-control protocols.
Assist in shifting and positioning patients safely before and after surgery.
Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.
Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the concerned department.
Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and safety within the OT.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other OT staff.
