Position: English Teacher

Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering effective English language and literature instruction, developing students’ communication skills, and ensuring academic progress through engaging, student-centred teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver English lessons as per the prescribed curriculum and academic plan.
Teach Grammar, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Literature effectively.
Develop students’ vocabulary, pronunciation, communication and comprehension skills.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments and remedial plans.
Use cutting-edge and interactive teaching methodologies, including activities and technology.
Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
Complete syllabus within the prescribed timeline and ensure proper revision before examinations.
Check notebooks, classwork, homework and reading work regularly.
Provide constructive feedback and individual support to students who need improvement.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning setting.
Participate in PTMs, orientations,



school events, competitions and other academic activities.
Coordinate with the Principal and Academic Team regarding academic performance and student progress.
Follow school academic guidelines, assessment procedures and documentation requirements.
Maintain skilled conduct and communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English; B.Ed. preferred/required.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to teach grammar and language skills systematically.
Ability to prepare assessments and worksheets.
Familiarity with CBSE/NCERT curriculum is preferred.
Basic digital/technology skills.
Passion for teaching and willingness to learn and adopt new methodologies.

Experience:

4–10 years of teaching experience preferred; candidates with CBSE school experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹107.49 - ₹337.95 per day
