A PDI Technician is responsible for checking and preparing products (usually vehicles) before they are delivered to customers. Their job ensures everything is in perfect condition.
Inspect recent vehicles before delivery to the customer.
Check the vehicle’s engine, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, lights, AC, battery, and other components.
Perform the PDI checklist according to Tata Motors/dealer standards.
Identify manufacturing, transportation, or assembly-related defects.
Carry out minor repairs, adjustments, and replacements when required.
Check vehicle fluid levels, tyre pressure, battery condition, and warning indicators.
Conduct a road test to identify abnormal noise, vibration, braking, or handling issues.




Use diagnostic equipment/scanners to identify electronic faults.
Maintain accurate PDI inspection reports and records.
Coordinate with the service advisor, workshop technicians, and sales team to resolve issues before delivery.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, complete, and ready for customer handover.
Follow workshop safety procedures and Tata Motors quality standards.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
