Job Description – Quality Control Engineer (Civil)

Position: Quality Control Engineer – Civil
Department: Quality / Construction
Experience: 2–6 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Location: Chrompet

Job Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure the quality of civil construction works as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks for ongoing construction activities.
Inspect materials such as concrete, cement, steel, blocks, aggregates, waterproofing materials, etc.
Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Quality Checklists, Material Inspection Reports, and Quality Reports.
Monitor concrete pouring, cube testing, slump tests, and other required quality tests.
Identify defects and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Verify that construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.




Maintain proper documentation and records of quality inspections and testing.
Conduct quality audits and follow up on NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) until closure.
Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.
Coordinate with laboratories for material and concrete testing when required.
Support the project team in maintaining required quality standards throughout the project.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of civil construction and quality control procedures.
Positive understanding of RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Knowledge of IS codes and construction standards.
Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
Good inspection, documentation, and reporting skills.
Problem-solving and attention to detail.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of MS Office and basic construction documentation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
