PURCHASE ASSISTANT

Position: Purchase Assistant
Department: Purchase / Procurement
Qualification: Any Degree
Experience: 0–2 Years / Freshers can apply
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and purchase-related documents.
Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, pricing, delivery schedules and material availability.
Compare quotations and support the purchase team in vendor selection.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
Maintain purchase records, supplier details and documentation.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality and Accounts departments.
Verify material requirements and raise purchase requests as required.




Track pending orders and update the purchase status.
Assist in identifying current suppliers and maintaining good vendor relationships.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of purchase-related records.

Skills Required
Valuable communication and negotiation skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Valuable follow-up and coordination skills.
Ability to maintain records accurately.
Basic understanding of procurement and inventory processes.
Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
