An experienced Construction Accountant manages specialized financial tasks for building projects. They track job costs, handle revenue recognition, and prepare budgets to ensure projects stay profitable.
Track job costs and analyze budget variances
Manage subcontractor billings, change orders, and retainage
Oversee accounts payable and receivable specific to projects
Prepare financial statements and cash flow estimates
Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 to 5 years of construction industry experience
Solid knowledge of job cost accounting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
