Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Head – Costing to lead our Tendering Costing, Estimation and function. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electrical panel costing, pricing, tender management, commercial evaluation, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Costing Process Oversight
Oversee the end-to-end costing and estimation process, from initial opportunity assessment through proposal submission and post-offer analysis.
Ensure all offer submissions are technically robust, commercially competitive, and compliant with relevant standards and regulatory guidelines.
Implement best practices and standardized procedures to improve costing efficiency and win rates.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Finance, and Quality Assurance teams to gather inputs for accurate costing, risk analysis, and technical feasibility.
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers and clients,



during the tender process.
Participate in pre-offer meetings and presentations to understand customer requirements and build solid business relationships.
Costing, Pricing & Risk Management
Lead the development of detailed cost estimates, pricing models, and risk assessments for each tender.
Ensure proposals meet profitability targets.
Identify technical, financial, and schedule-related risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Oversee negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable commercial terms and enhance competitive positioning.
Costing Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the Tendering, Costing & Estimation team.
Set explicit goals and KPIs for the tendering department.
Monitor team performance and implement process improvements.

Candidate Profile
Strong experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing / Switchgear industry preferred.
Robust knowledge of costing, estimation, tendering and pricing.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good decision-making and negotiation skills.
Strong stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
