Role & responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) projects for automotive ECU and vehicle system validation.
Define HIL validation strategy, project scope, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage HIL test bench development, integration, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with system, software, controls, calibration, and validation teams to ensure project alignment.
Drive requirements analysis and creation of HIL validation plans and test specifications.
Oversee development of plant models, simulation settings, and automated test frameworks.
Ensure traceability from requirements to HIL test cases and validation results.
Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
Manage project resources, effort estimation, and capacity planning.
Track project KPIs, test execution progress, and quality metrics.
Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and customer processes.
Review and approve HIL architectures, test cases, test reports,



and release recommendations.
Drive test automation, process improvements, and reuse strategies.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to HIL engineers and team members.
Coordinate supplier activities and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Preferred candidate profile
Automotive ECU validation and testing, HIL, SIL, MIL, and vehicle testing methodologies
Control systems and model-based development, MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow
Plant model development and integration
CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet protocols, Diagnostics (UDS, OBD)
Functional Safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR awareness, Requirements management and traceability, Test automation framework development
dSPACE SCALEXIO and ControlDesk, dSPACE AutomationDesk, NI PXI and LabVIEW, ETAS LABCAR
Vector CANoe and CANalyzer, INCA and calibration tools, Jenkins and CI/CD integration tools
Automotive SPICE, V-Model lifecycle, Test process definition, Defect management
