Job Summary

The Field GPS Installation Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining GPS tracking devices and related IoT hardware in vehicles. The role involves field visits, coordination with the support team, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring proper device functionality as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Configuration
Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, and two-wheelers

Configure devices using mobile apps, SMS commands,

Maintenance & Support
Perform preventive maintenance and re-installation when required
Attend breakdown calls and customer complaints in the field
Provide basic user training to drivers or customers
Maintain the assigned material stock for field task

Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with backend/support team for activation and testing
Adhere to company installation SOPs and timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education




ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Automobile, or equivalent
10th / 12th Graduate pass with relevant experience can also apply

Technical Skills
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
Basic understanding of GPS, GSM, and IoT devices
Ability to use smartphone apps and basic software tools

Soft Skills
Positive communication and customer-handling skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Time management and problem-solving skills

Experience
0–2 years’ experience in GPS installation or vehicle electronics
Freshers with technical background can be trained

Additional Requirements
Two-wheeler with valid driving license
Willingness to travel locally and his state.
Versatile to work on weekends and out of state or emergency calls

Salary & Perks
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience)
Travel allowance / fuel reimbursement/ Daily Allowance will be applicable.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
