Job Title: Manual Tester (13 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test case design, execution, defect reporting, and a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities
Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Execute test cases and ensure test coverage across the application.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and QA leads to ensure timely bug resolution.
Participate in test planning, review meetings, and sprint activities (Agile/Scrum).
Perform sanity and smoke testing on recent builds.
Validate UI/UX alignment with requirements.




Prepare test reports and maintain documentation.
Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Required Skills
1–3 years of experience in manual functional testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
Experience writing clear and concise test cases.
Valuable understanding of bug lifecycle and test methodologies.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, QC, etc.).
Basic understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have
Exposure to API testing (Postman)
Knowledge of automation basics (Selenium)
Experience with mobile or web testing
Understanding of version control tools like Git

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
