Handle AR Calling and Accounts Receivable follow-up for US healthcare claims.
Work on both Hospital Billing and Physician Billing accounts.
Follow up with insurance companies on pending, unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims.
Analyze claim denials, identify root causes, and take appropriate corrective action.
Handle denials related to eligibility, authorization, medical necessity, coding, timely filing, bundling, and non-covered services.
Review claim status, EOBs/ERAs, and payer correspondence to determine the next action.
Coordinate with billing, coding, and payment posting teams for claim resolution.
Initiate appeals and reconsiderations for appropriate denied claims.
Maintain accurate follow-up notes and ensure timely resolution of outstanding AR.
Meet defined productivity, quality, and collection targets.
