SAP PP Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Production Planning, manufacturing processes, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules. The ideal candidate should have experience working in Engineer-to-Order (ETO), external manufacturing, and subcontracting environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform fit-gap analysis, baseline configuration, data migration, and hypercare activities.
- Design, configure, and optimize external manufacturing and subcontracting workflows.
- Ensure accurate inventory visibility at third-party vendor locations.
- Configure SAP PP processes and structures tailored to Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments.
- Configure and support Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Work on discrete and repetitive manufacturing scenarios.
- Configure and maintain:
- Work Centers
- Routings
- Production Order Types
- Manufacturing Profiles

- Handle cross-module integration with:

- SAP SD
- SAP QM
- SAP MM




- SAP CO

- Prepare detailed functional specifications for:

- Custom shop-floor dashboards
- MES integrations
- Custom labels
- Specialized manufacturing reports

- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver manufacturing solutions aligned with business requirements.

Must-Have Skills

- 4 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP.
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning and Manufacturing processes.
- Experience with MRP, Work Centers, Routings, and Production Orders.
- Hands-on experience in external manufacturing and subcontracting.
- Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments.
- Strong understanding of SAP PP integration with SD, QM, MM, and CO.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications for custom developments and integrations.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
