We are seeking a seasoned Integration & API Management Specialist with strong
hands-on experience inSAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO, Advanced Event
Mesh (Solace), API Management, and related middleware technologies.

This role is accountable for platform reliability, operational excellence,
stability, security, governance, and availability, while providing technical
and operational leadership forbusiness‑critical, Tier‑1 integrations ensuring
stable operations and continuous modernization.

In addition to deep integration and middleware expertise, the role requires
strongAI and automation awareness to modernize operations through AIOps,
intelligent monitoring, predictive analytics, and automation‑driven remediation.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Reliability

* Own 24x7 operational support for SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, Solace
Advanced Event Mesh, and API Management platforms.
* Ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and security of
enterprise integration platforms supporting Tier‑1 workloads.
* Monitor traffic, message flows, latency, throughput, and error rates to
ensurehigh availability and SLA compliance.
* Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and problem management for
production issues related to integrations, and messaging platforms.
* Coordinate with application teams, vendors, and infrastructure teams during
major incidents and planned maintenance windows.
* Drive proactive monitoring and observability using SAP monitoring tools,
Splunk, ElasticSearch, and cloud‑native platforms.
* Proactively identify operational risks, capacity constraints, and
performance bottlenecks.

Platform Administration & Governance

* Oversee platform administration including environment configuration, access
control, role management, certificates, keys, and connectivity.
* Govern capacity planning, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and
lifecycle management.
* Establish and maintain runbooks, SOPs, operational playbooks, and
escalation models.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise security, cloud governance, audit, and
regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical oversight for SAP CPI, API Management, event‑driven
integrations,



REST/SOAP services, and legacy PI/PO interfaces.
* Lead migration and modernization initiatives from SAP PI/PO to SAP
Integration Suite and event‑driven architectures.
* Partner with architecture and delivery teams to ensure operational
readiness, resiliency, and supportability before go‑live.

AI‑Enabled Operations & Automation

* Drive adoption of AI‑assisted operations (AIOps) for anomaly detection,
alert correlation, predictive capacity planning, and incident reduction.
* Promote intelligent automation across monitoring, remediation, deployment
validation, and operational reporting.
* Leverage AI tools for log analysis, performance insights, trend detection,
and forecasting.
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed AI‑driven
observability and self‑healing capabilities into platforms.

People & Delivery Leadership

* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to integration
operations engineers.
* Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and
customer focus.
* Drive skill development across SAP Integration Suite, Solace, API
platforms, cloud, DevOps, and AI.
* Support on‑call rotations, workload prioritization, and operational
capacity planning.

Observability & Operational Excellence

* Configure and support monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as
Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
* Define operational dashboards and alerts for proactive detection of
platform and integration issues.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform resilience,
stability, and operational maturity.
* Maintain and improve runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation.

Stakeholder & Cross Functional Collaboration

* Serve as the primary operations interface for business stakeholders,
architecture,



security, cloud, and delivery teams.
* Deliver clear, executive level communication on platform health, risks,
incidents, and improvement initiatives.
* Influence enterprise adoption of best practices, standards, and reusable
integration services.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

* 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 7+ years in integration and
middleware platforms operations.
* Robust hands-on and operational expertise in:
* SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI
* SAP PI/PO
* Advanced Event Mesh (Solace)
* API Management platforms (SAP APIM, WSO2, Azure APIM, or similar)

Technical Expertise

* Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, BAPI, OData, and event driven
architectures.
* Strong experience with monitoring, logging, and observability (Splunk,
Elastic Search, SAP monitoring tools).
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud governance
practices including policies, tagging, and cost management.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices for
integration platforms.
* Working knowledge of containerized platforms, Kubernetes, and microservices
runtime environments.
* AI-augmented Operations experience
* Strong experience with log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting using
Splunk, ELK, or similar tools.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, high pressure, and
ambiguous environments.
* Strong decision making, accountability, and problem solving mindset.
* Exposure to DevOps and SRE practices, including reliability engineering
concepts.
* Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery models and tools such as JIRA and
Confluence.

Education & Certifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Certifications in SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Solace, API Management,
Cloud platforms, or AI are a strong plus.
