Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Operator to operate industrial sewing machines and produce garments or textile products according to specifications. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality, meeting production targets, and following workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate industrial sewing machines such as single-needle, overlock, flatlock, and other specialized machines.

- Stitch garments and textile components according to approved samples, patterns, and specifications.

- Check measurements, stitching, seams, and overall product quality.

- Maintain consistent production output while meeting daily targets.

- Identify and correct stitching defects and quality issues.

- Handle fabrics and components carefully to prevent damage or wastage.

- Perform basic machine cleaning, oiling, and routine maintenance.

- Follow production instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Report machine problems, material shortages,



and quality issues to the supervisor.

- Work cooperatively with cutting, finishing, quality-control, and production teams.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sewing Operator or Tailor is preferred.

- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and garment construction.

- Ability to read and follow basic sewing instructions and specifications.

- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

- Willingness to work flexible shifts when required.
