Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Ironing Master to supervise and perform garment ironing and pressing operations. The candidate will ensure garments are properly pressed according to required quality standards, specifications, and approved samples while maintaining production targets and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and supervise ironing and pressing of garments according to garment specifications.

- Operate steam irons, vacuum ironing tables, pressing machines, and other finishing equipment.

- Ensure garments are free from wrinkles, creases, shine marks, stains, and pressing defects.

- Check garment shape, appearance, and finishing after ironing.

- Set appropriate temperature, steam pressure, and pressing methods according to fabric type.

- Handle delicate fabrics carefully to prevent burns, marks, shrinkage, or fabric damage.

- Ensure ironing quality meets approved samples and customer requirements.

- Monitor daily production and ensure ironing targets are achieved.

- Train and guide ironing operators on proper pressing techniques.

- Inspect completed garments and identify rework requirements.

- Maintain ironing equipment and report machine faults or maintenance requirements.

- Follow workplace safety procedures while handling hot irons and steam equipment.





- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the ironing area.

- Coordinate with quality, finishing, sewing, and packing teams to resolve garment finishing issues.

- Maintain production and quality records as required.

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Ironing Master, Pressing Supervisor, or Senior Ironing Operator.

- Positive knowledge of garment fabrics and pressing techniques.

- Experience operating industrial steam irons and pressing equipment.

- Ability to identify ironing and finishing defects.

- Good understanding of garment construction and finishing standards.

- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.

- Ability to supervise and train ironing operators.

- Ability to work according to production schedules and targets.
