Offshore Senior Solution Architect -Role Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements and strategic outcomes into scalable, secure, resilient, and supportable technology solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end architecture design and own architecture throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through to implementation and live service.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, security, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps for legacy modernisation, cloud adoption, and platform simplification.
- Design and govern API-led, event-driven, and service-based architectures that promote reuse and interoperability.
- Identify and manage architecture risks, technical debt, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Lead architecture governance activities, producing high-quality architecture artefacts , recording decision with trade off analysis.
- Embed Secure by Design, Resilience by Design and Operational Excellence principles into all solutions.
- Communication and stakeholder management

Essential skills and experience
- Experience in a regulated financial services workplace




- Proven track record delivering digital transformation and large-scale technology modernisation programmes.
- Experience modernising legacy applications, databases, and integration platforms with 3rd party products.
- Strong understanding of API-led, microservices and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience with Public and Private Cloud platforms, ideally Azure and/or GCP.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within Commercial Banking, Lending & Mortgages domain
- Understanding of end-to-end lending journeys including Origination, Credit Assessment, Pricing, Fulfilment, Servicing and Customer Management.
- Experience with core lending platforms and surrounding lending ecosystems.
- TOGAF, BCS or equivalent architecture certification.
