Job Description:

The Buyer ensures material availability to point of use without exceeding agreed total cost and inventory levels. Is responsible for the daily operative management of suppliers and supply network, operative forecasting, order management, and problem solving on local or global level.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure inbound material availability aligned with demand requirements across operational hubs while optimizing total landed logistics costs.
- Execute purchase orders and demand forecasts with internal and external suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
- Manage DCD order execution based on sales orders and coordinate fulfillment with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Monitor material shortages, lead times, and supply risks, driving timely resolution and escalation as required.
- Oversee inventory performance, including stock level reviews, excess and obsolete (E&O;) management, and inventory reporting.
- Maintain purchasing master data accuracy and support effective supplier collaboration through KPI tracking and capacity utilization reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory, and ensure timely inbound deliveries through agreed logistics models.
- Manage operational exceptions such as invoice discrepancies, returns, quality claims, and blocked stock while identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.

Qualifications:

You have:

- Require bachelor's degree with related field with 5 plus years of relevant buyer experience of direct materials.
- Experience with Power BI and Data Analytics as value-added skills.
- Effective communication skills for explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in leadership roles, such as Team Leader or Project Leader.
