Role Objective
We are looking for a dynamic and driven professional to build and scale the Consumer Insights function . The role will lead research initiatives end-to-end generate actionable consumer and market insights influence business decisions and support marketing and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Consumer & Market Research
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research programs.
- Own research projects from scoping to execution and final recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external research agencies.
- Identify emerging consumer category and market trends.
2. Marketing & Business Insights
- Drive brand health campaign performance and marketing effectiveness reporting.
- Provide insights for weekly monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Analyse consumer behaviour brand equity and market opportunities.
- Support business forecasting through data-driven insights.
3. Consumer Segmentation & Prospect Analysis
- Drive consumer segmentation and opportunity sizing.
- Develop actionable insights for brand and business strategy.
- Identify growth opportunities using primary and secondary research.
- Combine external market data with internal sales/business data.
4. Agile Research & Innovation
- Drive agile research methodologies and quick consumer dipsticks.
- Establish early feedback mechanisms for marketing and product initiatives.
- Evaluate innovative research approaches and methodologies.
- Measure the impact of brand content service and new initiatives.
5. Stakeholder & Agency Management
- Work closely with Sales Marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Translate research findings into clear strategic recommendations.
- Build and maintain relationships with research agencies.
- Ensure quality timely and cost-effective research execution.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Consumer Insights / Market Research.
- Experience in a consumer-driven industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot Tables Charts and data analysis.
- Exposure to dashboards and data visualisation.
- Understanding of digital marketing and consumer behaviour is an advantage.
- Experience working in fast-paced or lean organisations preferred.
- Agency-side research experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ownership and ability to manage projects end-to-end.
