Responsibilities

Your main duties and responsibilities comprise the following tasks:

* Source investment opportunities and discuss relevant factors with the firm’s
senior managers
* Own and run complex financial models across various infrastructure
sub-sectors
* Conduct strategic & financial analysis of various sectors of interest and
develop relevant investment themes and companies across India
* Quantitative and qualitative analysis on prospective direct equity
investments in infrastructure sector
* Prepare Investment Committee papers for, and attend Investment Committee
meetings on a regular basis
* Take the lead in transaction due diligence work-streams, including financial,
commercial, legal, tax, etc.
* Participate in meetings with current and prospective, target companies as
well as in office visits etc.
* Support investment leadership in securing debt arrangements, negotiating
purchase agreements, employment agreements and incentive compensation for
management teams
* Work closely with portfolio companies in India to implement our value




creation plan
* Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments,
market research, and marketing efforts

What we expect

* 4-6 years of relevant work experience in top-tier private equity in
infrastructure, investment banking or management consulting
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
in global multi-cultural teams and cross-border investment environments
* Self-starter, strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
* Fluency in oral / written English essential (additional Indian language
capabilities are desirable)
* Excellent academic credentials with consistent track record
