Position: PLC Engineer

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

Role- The role is for a Senior PLC Automation Engineer who can independently program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based production lines with minimal support from Korean engineers.

/n

1. PLC Programming & Automation

/n

/n

- Develop, modify, test, and commission PLC programs for automated production equipment.

/n

- Configure and maintain HMI/SCADA systems for machine monitoring and control.

/n

- Optimize PLC logic to improve machine performance and reduce cycle time.

/n

- Ensure smooth startup and commissioning of recent production lines.

/n

/n

1. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

/n

/n

- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, electrical, and control system faults.

/n

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime.

/n

- Troubleshoot communication issues between PLCs, drives, sensors, robots, and other automation devices.

/n

- Analyze root causes of machine failures and implement permanent solutions.

/n

1. System Integration & Commissioning

/n

/n

- Integrate PLCs with MES, robots, sensors, servo drives, VFDs, and factory automation systems.

/n





- Configure industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Profinet, CC-Link, and Modbus.

/n

- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and machine validation.

/n

- Support installation, startup, and commissioning of automation equipment.

/n

1. Documentation & Process Improvement

/n

/n

- Prepare and maintain PLC backup files, I/O lists, electrical drawings, and technical documentation.

/n

- Generate daily/weekly progress reports and communicate technical updates.

/n

- Recommend automation improvements to enhance productivity and equipment reliability.

/n

- Ensure all modifications are properly documented and validated.

/n

/n

1. Collaboration & Compliance

/n

/n

- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams for issue resolution.

/n

- Work closely with Korean engineering teams and provide technical updates in English.

/n

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company automation guidelines.

/n

- Maintain high-quality standards during commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
