NOTE: This is a hybrid on-site 2-3 days per week in Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Kolkata. Working hours are 2-11 IST.

Insight Global is seeking a SAP RE-FX Functional Consultant to join a big 4 consulting company for an end client in the oil and gas space. You will be a critical part in implementing SAP S/4HANA RE-FX to support its portfolio of gas stations, retail sites, leases, and land assets.

The project is approximately halfway through the build phase. The high-level solution design is substantially complete, and this consultant will focus on hands-on system configuration, functional specifications, issue resolution, and client support.

This is a net-current position for a senior consultant who can independently configure SAP RE-FX and explain the solution in clear business terms.

Responsibilities:

- Configure SAP S/4HANA RE-FX for real estate and lease management processes
- Lead requirements gathering and solution design sessions with business stakeholders
- Configure lease accounting, valuations, periodic postings, and financial integrations
- Create functional specifications and partner with ABAP/development teams




- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and recommend configuration vs. customization

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 2+ full lifecycle SAP RE-FX implementations, including 1+ S/4HANA project
- Deep hands-on RE-FX configuration experience (FX master data, contract management, conditions, adjustment rules, periodic postings, valuations, sales-based rent, escalations, valuations, SCS)
- Strong SAP Lease Accounting / IFRS 16 configuration experience, including parallel valuation
- Experience with Sales-Based Rent, Service Charge Settlements (SCS), and FI/CO integration
- Ability to write functional specs for RICEFW objects, support custom enhancements, and work directly with business stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Oil & Gas or Utilities industry experience
- SAP Fiori experience within RE-FX environments
- Embedded Analytics or CDS reporting experience
- Technical or development background (ABAP/coding)
- Experience supporting retail, land, or real estate portfolios
