Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced AS400 / IBM i Developer with strong hands-on experience in RPG/RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL, SQL and DB2. The candidate should have a good understanding of production support, batch jobs, debugging and application troubleshooting, along with development and enhancement experience.Key Responsibilities:- Provide L1/L2 production support for AS400 / IBM i applications.- Handle production issues, incidents and P1/P2 support activities.- Monitor batch jobs and troubleshoot job failures and application issues.- Perform RCA, debugging and incident investigation.- Analyze existing RPG programs and implement enhancements/change requests.- Develop, modify and test programs using RPG/RPGLE and SQLRPGLE.- Work with CL/CLLE for job control and batch processing.- Work with DB2/400 and SQL for data analysis, queries and troubleshooting.- Participate in application testing,



deployment and release activities.- Maintain technical documentation and follow SLA/ITIL processes.- Work closely with business users, application teams and other technical teams.- Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow established development/support processes.Tech Stack:- AS400 / IBM i, RPG / RPGLE / RPG400, SQLRPGLE / Embedded SQL, CL / CLLE, SQL / SQL400, DB2 / DB2/400Good to Have:- ILE concepts, Stored Procedures, SDA / RLU, RPG Free Format, ServiceNow, Agile methodology, Deployment / Release Management, ITIL / SLA processesCandidate Profile:- Strong hands-on experience in AS400/IBM i application development and production support.- Valuable understanding of RPG, CL, SQL and DB2/400.- Experience handling production incidents, batch jobs and application troubleshooting.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good communication skills and ability to interact with business and technical teams.
