Role & responsibilities

- Conduct Time Study and analyze process cycle times.
- Perform Line Balancing to improve manpower utilization and production efficiency.
- Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Support implementation of Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, VSM, 6S and 8W initiatives.
- Analyze production processes and recommend improvements in productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Support Industrial Engineering (IE) activities, process standardization and productivity improvement.
- Prepare and maintain process-related reports, documentation and analysis using MS Office.
- Support project activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and update process layouts/drawings using AutoCAD, where required.
- Coordinate with Production and cross-functional teams for implementation of improvement projects.

Preferred candidate profile





- Bachelor's/Diploma qualification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering (IE), Time Study and Line Balancing.
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools, including 6S, 8W, VSM, Kaizen and Poka-Yoke.
- Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly understand processes, identify issues and learn new concepts.
- Experience or academic/project exposure in process improvement or IE projects will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
