Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design textile machinery, components and systems using CAD software
- Develop technical specifications, design calculations and schematics for machinery and related systems
- Conduct feasibility studies and design analysis to ensure machines meet performance requirements
- Coordinate the prototyping and testing of designs to ensure functionality, safety and durability
- Identify and resolve design-related issues during prototype testing and improve design based on feedback
- Work closely with production, manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs
- Coordinate with the R&D; team to develop current technology and integrate it into machine designs
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in textile machinery and incorporate them into designs
- Prepare detailed design reports, user manuals and project documentation
- Maintain accurate records of design iterations and changes to ensure proper project management
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety guidelines.
