A Tool Room Engineer in an auto component (auto comp) company manages, maintains, and repairs precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to keep automotive production lines running smoothly.

Core Job Responsibilities

- Tool Maintenance & Repair: Perform planned and preventive maintenance (PM) on press tools, injection molds, or die-casting dies to prevent production downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix shop-floor tooling defects like burrs, flash, short fills, or dimensional errors.
- Machinery Operation: Supervise or operate tool room equipment including CNC machines, VMCs, lathes, surface grinders, and wire EDM.
- Recent Tooling Trials: Support new product launches by coordinating tool assembly, initial testing, and trial adjustments.
- Quality & Measurement:



Inspect tool components using precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure strict drawing tolerances.
- Inventory & Records: Track tool life cycles, maintain die history logs, and manage spare parts inventory.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
