We're looking to bring on a Senior Solution Architect with deep proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud technology to lead the charge on our legacy modernization program. You'll act as a key contributor in shaping scalable solutions, moving forward cloud and business transformation efforts, and partnering closely with both clients and technical teams. This position requires considerable practical cloud platform expertise combined with a well-rounded grasp of software architecture and modernization techniques. Responsibilities

- Shape and engineer solutions that support legacy modernization work in line with client needs
- Steer architecture-related discussions in coordination with business stakeholders and technical groups
- Move forward cloud and business transformation programs while keeping consistent with technical protocols
- Provide coaching and backing to less-experienced team members across the full span of project delivery




- Team up with clients to examine current mainframe setups and surface opportunities for modernization
- Build out modernization strategies that include re-platforming, re-factoring, re-architecting, and cloud migration
- Deliver hands-on technical leadership to development teams to support project success
- Employ reverse engineering approaches to study legacy code and surface embedded business rules
- Chart and coordinate how modernized systems connect with existing infrastructure
- Roll out quality assurance practices that address performance, security, and compliance obligations
- Craft scalable, high-capacity solutions rooted in cloud platforms and microservices design
- Compile comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams and development standards
- Build lasting client relationships and act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders
- Stay current with new technology developments and weave innovative concepts into modernization efforts

Requirements

- Long-standing Java development background, ranging from 13 to 19 years in solution architecture roles
- Proven history of leadership in architecture planning and guiding business transformation work
- Well-rounded expertise in cloud transformation programs and connected modernization technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture concepts,



design patterns, and recognized best practices
- Capable across cloud computing environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Essential hands-on experience as a solution architect operating within Microsoft Azure
- Applied experience working with a range of modernization tools and methods
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities that enable productive engagement with varied stakeholders
- Working professional fluency in the English language

Nice to have

- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Spring REST, and Spring Cloud
- Limited experience with frontend technologies including ReactJS and Angular
- Proficiency in microservices architecture planning and RESTful API construction
- Knowledge of API tooling and corresponding design best practices
- Practical experience with databases such as PostgreSQL along with various NoSQL platforms
