We are looking for a highly analytical Amazon Product Research & Supplier Sourcing Specialist to help us identify profitable products to sell on Amazon UK.

The ideal candidate should understand Amazon product research, competition analysis, profitability calculations and sourcing products from suppliers such as Alibaba.

This is a research-focused role. We are looking for someone who can find opportunities and validate them with data, rather than simply suggesting popular products.

Key responsibilities

1. Amazon UK Product Research

● Identify potential products suitable for selling on Amazon UK.

● Analyse demand, sales indicators, selling prices and competition.

● Research Amazon Best Sellers, Movers & Shakers and relevant product niches.

● Identify products with good demand but manageable competition.

● Look for opportunities for private-label products.

● Analyse competitor listings, reviews, ratings and pricing.

● Identify potential product improvements or differentiation opportunities.

2. Profitability Analysis

For each shortlisted product, calculate:

● Amazon UK selling price

● Estimated Amazon referral fees

● FBA fees

● Estimated product cost

● Alibaba/DDP shipping cost

● Estimated advertising cost

● Estimated profit per unit

● Estimated profit margin

● Minimum viable selling price

We want realistic landed-cost and profit calculations, not optimistic estimates.

3. Supplier Research

● Find suitable manufacturers/suppliers on Alibaba and other B2B platforms.

● Compare multiple suppliers for the same product.

● Check MOQ, unit price, DDP price and lead time.

● Check supplier experience, certifications and product quality information.

● Request quotations/specifications where appropriate.

● Identify suppliers suitable for small initial orders.

● Explore options for custom packaging/private labelling.

4. Product Validation

For every recommended product, provide a structured report containing:

● Product name

● Amazon UK listing/ASIN

● Selling price





● Estimated demand/sales indicator

● Number and quality of competitors

● Review count

● Main competitors

● Product dimensions/weight

● Estimated FBA fees

● Alibaba supplier links

● Supplier MOQ

● Product cost

● DDP landed cost to UK

● Estimated Amazon profit

● Estimated profit margin

● Key risks

● Recommended initial order quantity

● Recommendation: Proceed / Investigate Further / Reject

Candidate requirements

Essential:

● Previous experience with Amazon product research.

● Good understanding of Amazon UK.

● Experience researching Alibaba suppliers.

● Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

● Ability to calculate product profitability.

● Strong research and analytical skills.

● Positive written English.

● Ability to distinguish genuine opportunities from highly competitive products.

Desirable:

● Experience with Amazon FBA.

● Experience with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa or similar.

● Experience with private-label products.

● Knowledge of UK FBA fees and Amazon selling requirements.

● Previous experience sourcing from China.

We are not looking for someone who simply sends a list of trending products.

The successful candidate must be able to explain why a product is worth considering, provide supplier evidence and demonstrate the potential economics with realistic calculations.

Candidates who demonstrate strong research and analytical ability may be offered ongoing part-time work.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
