At The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the Distribution Department Supervisor oversees the timely, safe, and efficient transportation of hot mid-day meals from central automated kitchens to thousands of beneficiary schools daily.

Core Responsibilities

- Route Planning & Vehicle Logistics: Schedule daily delivery routes, assign customized meal-distribution vehicles, and ensure drivers leave on tight morning windows to arrive before school meal times.
- Handover & Loading Oversight: Coordinate directly with the kitchen production department to ensure insulated food containers (vessels) are correctly loaded according to school-wise allocation lists.
- Food Safety & Quality Control: Enforce FSSAI, ISO, and HACCP standards during transit. Ensure temperature control, vessel sealing, and cleanliness of distribution vans.
- Driver & Helper Management: Supervise, train, and manage attendance for delivery drivers and helpers, emphasizing road safety,



hygiene (GMP), and polite interaction with school authorities.
- Feedback & Delivery Tracking: Act as the primary point of contact for school heads/principals, handle route disruptions, and capture daily delivery receipts/feedback.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Fuel Oversight: Coordinate regular servicing, fitness certificates, and daily fuel/mileage tracking for the delivery fleet in tandem with the maintenance department.
- Documentation & ERP Reporting: Maintain records of daily dispatch volumes, route logs, vehicle performance, and report discrepancies into the ERP system.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
