Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Consultant Nephrologist to provide specialist consultation, diagnosis and management of patients with kidney-related diseases. The doctor will be responsible for OPD consultations, IPD/critical-care support and guidance related to dialysis and renal emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients with kidney and renal disorders.
- Conduct Nephrology OPD and review admitted/IPD patients as required.
- Diagnose and manage AKI, CKD, nephrotic syndrome, electrolyte disorders, hypertension and other renal conditions.
- Evaluate patients requiring hemodialysis and renal replacement therapy.
- Provide clinical guidance for dialysis patients and coordinate with the dialysis team.
- Manage renal emergencies and advise on appropriate investigations and treatment.
- Review and interpret renal function tests, urine investigations, electrolytes and related reports.
- Coordinate with Physicians, Critical Care, Urology, Surgery and other departments whenever required.
- Advise on medication/dosage adjustments in patients with renal impairment.
- Maintain proper medical records, clinical notes and treatment plans.
- Participate in emergency/on-call services as mutually agreed.
- Ensure patient care is provided in accordance with applicable medical standards and hospital protocols.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.




- DM/DNB/DrNB – Nephrology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission/State Medical Council as applicable. NMC's doctor-registration system records State Medical Council registration details.
- Relevant clinical experience in Nephrology preferred.
- Experience in dialysis patient management will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- Fresh DM/DNB/DrNB candidates may be considered.
- 1–5+ years of experience as a Consultant/Specialist Nephrologist preferred.
- Experience in handling dialysis, ICU/critical-care renal cases and renal emergencies preferred.

Engagement Options

Option 1 – Full time: Regular Nephrology OPD + IPD + emergency/on-call responsibilities.

Option 2 – On-Call/Visiting Consultant: Scheduled OPD visits along with availability for IPD consultations, dialysis-related cases and emergency renal consultations as mutually agreed.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
