Job Description

We are looking for a Senior PLC Programmer with strong hands-on experience in SPM, industrial automation, machine programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The candidate should be capable of independently handling PLC programming and automation projects from development to machine commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs for SPM and automation machines.
- Develop and configure HMI programs and operator screens.
- Handle complete machine automation sequences and logic.
- Integrate PLCs with servo motors, VFDs, sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, and safety devices.
- Read and understand electrical control panel drawings and I/O documentation.
- Perform machine commissioning, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve PLC, HMI, electrical, and automation-related issues.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and design teams for machine integration.
- Conduct machine trials and implement program modifications based on requirements.
- Develop machine safety interlocks and sequence controls.
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites when required.
- Guide junior PLC programmers and support the automation team.




- Maintain PLC/HMI software backups and technical documentation.

Required Skills

- Solid experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens / Mitsubishi / Allen-Bradley / Delta PLCs.
- Strong knowledge of HMI programming.
- Experience with servo drives, VFDs, sensors, pneumatics, and industrial communication.
- Good understanding of electrical control panels and machine wiring.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience in SPM / automotive automation machines preferred.
- Ability to independently handle automation projects.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in EEE / ECE / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related field.
- 4–8 years of relevant PLC programming experience.
- SPM and industrial automation experience preferred.

Candidate Profile

- Experienced PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer capable of independently handling projects.
- Strong machine commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer-site commissioning when required.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
