A leading Fashion Accessories Division located at Vandalur, Chennai is looking for an experienced Quality Head – Woven Garments Experience.

Candidate Profile

- 15+ years' experience in Quality within the woven garment industry, including senior leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, sewing, measurements, finishing and quality systems.
- Good understanding of AQL and buyer quality requirements.

Location: Chennai/Vandalur

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end quality from fabric inspection to final shipment.
- Ensure adherence to buyer specifications, AQL and approved quality standards.
- Drive quality control across cutting, sewing, finishing and packing.
- Monitor and improve RFT, DHU, alteration, rejection and final inspection performance.
- Conduct quality risk assessment during PP and bulk production.
- Handle buyer inspections, quality complaints, RCA and CAPA.
- Establish preventive quality systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead, train and develop the QA/QC team.
- Work closely with Production, Technical, Merchandising and other functions to resolve quality issues.





Key Result Areas (KRA)

- Improve Right First Time (RFT) performance.
- Reduce DHU, rework, alteration and rejection.
- Achieve high first-pass final inspection performance.
- Minimize buyer complaints and inspection failures.
- Ensure timely and effective CAPA closure with no recurrence.
- Strengthen process compliance and preventive quality systems.
- Build a solid and accountable QA/QC team.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and buyer-handling skills.
