JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Manager – Fruit Processing Plant

1. Job Purpose

Manage day-to-day fruit processing and factory operations to achieve production targets while ensuring quality, food safety, productivity, yield, cost control and effective utilization of manpower, materials and machinery.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily, weekly and seasonal production schedules.
- Manage fresh fruit receiving, sorting, ripening, pulping, processing, packing and WIP movement.
- Handle seasonal fruits such as Sitaphal, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Guava, Kala Jamun, Jackfruit, etc.
- Ensure optimum raw-material utilization and minimize wastage and process losses.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, QA, Maintenance, Dispatch, NPD/R&D; and Supply Chain.
- Plan manpower deployment and monitor productivity, attendance and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GHP, HACCP and FSSC 22000 requirements.
- Monitor production yield, downtime, WIP, inventory and material consumption.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and resolve production-line breakdowns.
- Prepare daily production reports and monthly MIS with PPT for management.
- Identify process improvements for productivity, yield, quality and cost reduction.
- Support new product development,



production trials and process validation.
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, hygiene and housekeeping.
- Lead and guide Production Supervisors, Executives and production workforce.

4. Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture or relevant qualification.
- Hands-on experience in fruit processing, factory operations and seasonal production at least for 5 Years plus.

6. Role Accountability

Responsible for secure, efficient and timely production while achieving quality, food-safety, productivity, yield and cost objectives.

Pay: ₹60,108.72 - ₹79,805.69 per month
