Python Backend Developer

Location

Hybrid — Gurugram, Hyderabad, or Noida. This role requires working from the office three days each week.

Role Overview

Join a Digital & Technology team building backend systems, data pipelines, and LLM-powered automation workflows across internal and client-facing platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering craft with the communication skills to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain Python-based backend services, APIs, and data pipelines; manage and optimize SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations, alongside data engineers and analysts.
- Integrate LLM API endpoints, including OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar services, into backend applications; build reliable production-ready automation workflows and apply strong prompt engineering.
- Own the development lifecycle from local development through CI/CD to production using Git, Docker, and AWS, Azure, or GCP; monitor system health, manage incident response, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code standards.
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, write transparent documentation, and serve as a trusted technical partner.

Required Qualifications





- Strong Python backend-development, API, and data-processing skills; familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on SQL experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or an equivalent relational database, including query optimization, indexing, schema design, and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy.
- Practical LLM API integration and prompt-engineering experience. Familiarity with LangChain or similar agent frameworks is a plus.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or GCP; infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

- 5–7 years of backend software-development experience.
- Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, or workflow-automation tooling for business operations.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, you will ship at least one production-grade automation that replaces or accelerates a manual process. Within six months, you will own a core service end to end, from design through monitoring, with readable code and current documentation.

Compensation: ₹25–40 LPA.

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
