Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to operate and maintain business-critical PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and SAP HANA environments. The role will ensure database availability, performance, security, backup/recovery and patching while supporting application teams and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

· Administer PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and SAP HANA databases in production and non-production environments.

· Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, storage and health.

· Perform database tuning, query optimization, indexing and performance troubleshooting.

· Manage database backup, restore and recovery processes and participate in recovery testing.

· Maintain database security, access controls, roles and permissions.

· Plan and execute database patching, upgrades and maintenance activities.

· Troubleshoot database incidents and provide root-cause analysis.

· Support high availability, replication and disaster-recovery requirements where applicable.





· Work with application and infrastructure teams on deployments, migrations and database changes.

· Support capacity planning and database scaling as transaction volumes and application demand grow.

· Maintain database documentation, operational procedures and recovery runbooks.

· Monitor and improve database resilience, reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Strong hands-on DBA experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

· Practical experience with SAP HANA administration.

· Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup/recovery, security and high availability.

· Experience supporting production databases in enterprise environments.

· Valuable understanding of infrastructure, storage, networking and application dependencies.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
