We are looking for an experienced Operations Head to manage the overall operations of a pharmaceutical medicine distribution company in Bangalore.

The person will be responsible for managing and coordinating the complete business operations, including Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, Inventory, Distribution, Delivery, Collections, Customer Management, Supplier Management, Administration and Team Management.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth coordination between all departments.

Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the medicine distribution business.
- Coordinate Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, Distribution, Accounts and Administration activities.
- Monitor daily sales, orders, dispatches and deliveries.
- Manage relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers, customers, pharmacies, hospitals and institutions.
- Monitor purchase requirements, product availability and supplier coordination.
- Oversee warehouse and inventory operations.
- Monitor stock accuracy, expiry, near-expiry, damages, returns and stock movement.
- Ensure proper FEFO/FIFO practices and inventory control.
- Monitor order processing, picking, packing and dispatch activities.
- Coordinate delivery operations and resolve delivery-related issues.
- Monitor customer outstanding and collection activities.
- Coordinate with Accounts for billing, receivables and payment-related matters.
- Manage and supervise employees across different departments.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance and discipline.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and team meetings.
- Resolve customer, supplier and internal operational issues.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor business performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Implement company SOPs,



policies and operational procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable pharmaceutical distribution requirements.
- Report important operational matters and business performance to senior management.

Candidate Requirements

- Must be a local candidate from Bangalore.
- Kannada language is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical / medicine distribution is highly preferred.
- Experience in wholesale medicine distribution, stockist, distributor or similar business will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in Operations Management / Branch Management / General Management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Warehouse and Distribution operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good customer and supplier relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of collection and receivables management.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP / pharmaceutical distribution software will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple departments.
- Strong decision-making and business coordination skills.

Language Requirements

- Kannada – Mandatory
- English – Required for office/business communication
- Other regional languages will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical distribution / medicine wholesale / healthcare distribution and who have previously managed overall branch or business operations are preferred.

Monday to Saturday
