Qualification
BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Experience
Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in plumbing and fire-fighting systems maintenance and operations.

Job Responsibilities -
Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire-fighting systems.
Valuable understanding of fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, wet risers, hose reels, and fire-water systems.
Knowledge of water supply, drainage, sewage, pumps, pipelines, valves, and water storage systems.
Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and fire-fighting system breakdowns.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Good understanding of applicable fire safety standards and statutory requirements.

Plumbing Systems
Operate, maintain, and monitor plumbing and water supply systems.
Maintain water supply, drainage, sewage, pumps, tanks, pipelines, valves, and associated plumbing equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing installations to identify leakages, blockages, pressure issues, and other defects.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related breakdowns and operational issues.
Monitor the proper functioning of water pumps, transfer pumps, booster pumps, and related equipment.
Coordinate repair and maintenance activities with plumbers, contractors, and AMC vendors.
Ensure proper functioning of water storage tanks, pipelines, valves, and other plumbing installations.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.





Fire-Fighting Systems
Maintain and monitor fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, wet risers, hose reels, fire tanks, and associated fire-fighting equipment.
Ensure the fire-fighting system remains operational and ready for emergency situations.
Conduct routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire-fighting systems.
Monitor the functioning of fire pumps, jockey pumps, main pumps, diesel pumps, valves, pressure gauges, and related equipment.
Inspect hydrants, sprinkler networks, hose reels, wet risers, and other fire-fighting installations for proper functioning.
Coordinate testing and maintenance of fire-fighting systems as per applicable safety standards and statutory requirements.
Identify faults or deficiencies in fire-fighting systems and ensure timely corrective action.
Coordinate with fire-fighting AMC vendors and specialized service agencies for maintenance and repairs.
Maintain records of fire-fighting system inspections, testing, maintenance, and statutory compliance.
