Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part-Time and Full-Time Dance Teacher to conduct engaging dance sessions for students across appropriate age groups. The ideal candidate should be confident working with children, able to choreograph performances, and capable of making dance enjoyable and accessible for students of different ability levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate dance classes.
- Teach dance technique, rhythm, coordination, movement, and performance skills.
- Choreograph routines for school programmes, celebrations, competitions, and annual events.
- Encourage student participation, confidence, creativity, and teamwork.
- Adapt sessions for students with different levels of dance experience.
- Maintain a protected and positive environment during classes and rehearsals.
- Coordinate with teachers and school leadership when preparing students for performances.
- Assist with auditions, rehearsals, and school cultural activities where required.

Required Qualifications





- Formal training or demonstrated experience in dance.
- Previous experience teaching or coaching children is preferred.
- Strong choreography and performance skills.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work positively and patiently with school-age children.

Preferred Skills

- Ability to teach more than one dance style.
- Experience preparing students for stage performances or competitions.
- Experience working in schools, academies, or children's performing arts programmes.
- Ability to choreograph both individual and group performances.

Working Arrangement

- Part-time or Full-time position.
- Working days and hours will be agreed based on the school's timetable and requirements if part-time.
- Candidates must currently live in Kochi or within a reasonable commutable distance of the school and be able to attend classes and rehearsals on site.
