About Position:

We are seeking an experienced highly skilled Embedded Systems Test Engineer with strong expertise in software testing, quality assurance, and embedded systems validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing firmware, RTOS-based applications, and hardware-software integrated systems while leveraging automation frameworks to improve product quality and testing efficiency. In this role, you will work closely with firmware engineers, hardware engineers, system architects, and product teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of embedded products. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies, executing system validation activities, automating test execution, and supporting continuous integration initiatives.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases for embedded systems.
- Validate firmware, RTOS-based applications, and bare-metal embedded software for functionality, reliability, and performance.




- Perform testing of hardware-software integrated systems, including sensors, actuators, controllers, communication modules, and embedded devices.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Utilize Squish and Ranorex to automate UI, HMI, and end-to-end system validation testing.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and validation testing across embedded platforms.
- Verify embedded communication protocols and interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, and USB.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and system engineering teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects.
- Execute root cause analysis for test failures and support issue resolution activities.
- Manage defects, track issues, and provide detailed reporting using JIRA.
- Create, maintain, and execute test suites using TestRail for effective test management and traceability.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles and improve quality.
- Monitor test results, analyze trends, and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with product quality standards, engineering processes, and release requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.
- Support release validation and production readiness activities.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6 to 10 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with a strong focus on Embedded Systems Testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, testing life cycle, and quality engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience testing firmware, RTOS-based systems, and bare-metal embedded applications.
- Experience validating hardware-software integrated systems including sensors, communication modules, controllers, and embedded devices.
- Strong knowledge of embedded communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, and USB.
- Hands-on expertise in test automation using Squish and Ranorex.




- Proficiency in Python for test scripting, automation framework development, and test execution.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated regression and system validation test suites.
- Strong experience using JIRA for defect management, issue tracking, and Agile project collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with TestRail for test planning, execution, traceability, and reporting.
- Experience working with embedded hardware and validating real-time system behavior.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Ability to analyze system logs, test reports, and performance data to identify issues.
- Experience collaborating with firmware, hardware, validation, and product engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple testing activities in a fast-paced workplace.
