Job Description

Center for Sports Injury (CSI), a specialized orthopaedic and sports injury hospital in Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our Operation Theatre team.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during orthopaedic and spine surgeries, handling surgical instruments, maintaining sterility, and ensuring smooth and safe OT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist orthopaedic surgeons during various orthopaedic and spine surgeries.
- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, implants, and OT equipment before procedures.
- Perform scrubbing and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and counting of surgical instruments, sponges, and needles.
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthesia staff, and other OT team members.
- Ensure OT readiness before and after every surgery.




- Maintain OT records and follow hospital protocols for patient safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
- Previous experience as an OT Scrub Nurse, preferably in orthopaedic surgeries.
- Knowledge of orthopaedic surgical instruments, implants, and spine surgery procedures.
- Understanding of sterile techniques and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a surgical team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Experience

- Relevant experience in an orthopaedic Operation Theatre is preferred.
- Freshers with appropriate nursing qualifications and OT training may also apply.
