Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled and experienced Fitters to join our production and assembly team. The role involves fitting, assembling, aligning, and installing mechanical parts and equipment used in rolling mills and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Fit, align, and assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies (gearboxes, rolling mill stands, etc.).
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately.
- Perform mechanical adjustments, fitting, and finishing work as per specifications.
- Conduct trial fitting, identify alignment issues, and carry out necessary corrections.
- Work in coordination with fabrication, machining, and quality departments.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Support installation and commissioning activities at the plant when required.

Required Skills & Competencies:





- Good understanding of mechanical assembly and alignment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in heavy fabrication / machine assembly.
- Basic welding or grinding skills will be an advantage.
- Team player with strong work discipline and attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience:

- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical Trade
- Experience: 2–8 years in mechanical fitting, preferably in heavy machinery, rolling mill, or gearbox assembly.

Work Schedule:

- Full time, 10-hour shift (Day Shift)

Compensation:

- As per industry standards / commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
