- Cash Drawer Auditing: Counting the opening cash float, verifying totals, and balancing the register against the daily sales report at closing.
- Customer Support: Greeting shoppers, answering questions about store policies or locations, and handling exchanges, returns, and refunds.
- Promotions Execution: Verifying and applying store coupons, checking ID for age-restricted items, and enrolling customers in loyalty programs.
- Checkout Maintenance: Keeping the register station clean, organizing shopping carts, bagging items securely, and restocking impulse-buy displays.
