Reporting To: Medical Superintendent / Hospital Administration

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced ENT Specialist / Consultant to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) disorders. The doctor will be responsible for OPD consultations, clinical evaluation, treatment planning and ENT procedures as per qualification, experience and hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct ENT OPD consultations and examine patients of different age groups.
- Diagnose and manage common ear, nose, throat, sinus and related head & neck conditions.
- Evaluate and treat conditions such as:
- Ear infection, ear pain and hearing-related problems
- Wax removal and foreign-body cases
- Sinusitis and allergic rhinitis
- Deviated nasal septum and nasal obstruction
- Tonsillitis and throat infections
- Tinnitus and vertigo-related ENT complaints
- Adenoid-related conditions
- Voice and vocal-cord disorders
- Perform ENT examination and appropriate diagnostic procedures as per expertise and available infrastructure.
- Perform minor ENT procedures within the doctor's scope of practice.
- Recommend investigations such as audiometry, imaging, endoscopy or laboratory tests wherever clinically indicated.
- Provide appropriate prescriptions and follow-up plans.
- Identify emergency ENT cases and coordinate timely referral/admission where required.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Emergency, Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Paediatrics and Surgery when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions,



clinical notes and follow-up details.
- Participate in ENT surgeries/procedures as per hospital requirements and the doctor's expertise.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBBS + MS/DNB in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) preferred. NMC lists M.S./DNB in Otorhinolaryngology as the relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Recognized medical qualification with valid State Medical Council/NMC registration, as applicable.
- ENT Diploma/DNB-ENT candidates may also be considered depending on qualification, registration and experience.
- 1–3+ years of relevant experience preferred, although suitable fresh postgraduate candidates may be considered.

- Good clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong patient communication and counselling skills.
- Ability to manage routine ENT OPD cases independently.
- Experience in ENT procedures/surgeries will be an advantage.
- Professional, patient-focused and ethical approach.
- Willingness to work on a Full-Time or On-Call basis.

For On-Call Consultants

The doctor should be available for:

- Scheduled ENT OPD/consultation days.
- Emergency ENT consultations when required.
- Pre-operative/post-operative ENT consultation.
- Hospital referrals and inpatient consultations.
- ENT procedures/surgeries as mutually agreed with the hospital.

Compensation: Negotiable / As per experience and consultation arrangement.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
